This summer I finished the first draft of my first novel, a science fiction book set 1,000 years in the future. It’s been a huge endeavor to get it done, but I’ve had my first two readers give me edits and am working on a second draft as September begins.  I’ve always been a science fiction nerd of the Star Wars/Star Trek variety, but with a heavy splash of Tolkien in there as well.  This is my first foray into producing work in a genre I’ve always loved and read – and I can’t wait for you all to read it!  Hint: it’s about wormholes, artificial intelligence, and a young refugee pilot who tries to play both sides of the game and gets stuck in the middle.
