I have a new poem, “Between,” published in Stirring Literary Journal this spring.

It’s a poem I wrote in graduate school, during which I gave birth to my first child. This poem is a reflection on that night of labor and what was missed, or lost, in those first hours of motherhood. I’m grateful to Stirring for loving and publishing the poem. Please read and not only mine, but the other excellent work in the issue.
