I’m thrilled to have two pieces in Talking River, the literary journal out of Lewis-Clark College in Idaho. My poem “Telemachus at the Hardware Store” is a modern retelling of Odysseus’ son, building garden beds in the plot of land where his dad once almost killed him. I’ve also got a review of Nicole Sealey’s wonderful newest collection, ordinary beast, in which I explore how Sealey uses form and structure. Am I thrilled to be in the same table of contents as Poet Laureate Tracy K.Smith? YES I AM.
Congratulations! Good for you
