Winter Projects: Book Chapters & A New Column

Oregon is getting inundated with rain, snow, and frost, and I’m huddled inside, drinking way too much coffee and working on a few long-term projects.

2015 turned out to be a very busy year for me, writing-wise.  Since the piece with The Big Roundtable was published a few months ago (If you missed it, here it is) I’ve been researching and writing two book chapters, both for Creative Nonfiction magazine’s book publishers, In Fact Books.  With those fun and challenging pieces in process and due out in 2016, I am going to be quite busy through the end of the year.

In addition, I’ve been asked to write a monthly column for Buddhist Door International about women’s issues in Buddhism.  The column will focus on profiles of prominent women working within the Buddhist community worldwide, as well as intersections of identity, faith, and practice.  I’m very excited to launch this column in January 2016, so stay tuned for updates in the next month!

Happy holidays-

Caitlin
