Caitlin Dwyer is a writer from Portland, Oregon.
Her journalistic writing pursues subjects in depth, resulting in complex, comprehensive features that explore the nuances of a particular issue. Based on careful observation, interviews, immersion and scholarly research, Caitlin’s articles build characters and tell amazing human stories. Her poetry has been published in national journals.
She received her B.A. in English from Pomona College, Master of Journalism degree at the University of Hong Kong and Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Pacific Lutheran University’s Rainier Writer’s Workshop. Caitlin has been to twenty countries on four continents and can talk about the weather in Spanish, Italian, and Mandarin Chinese.
